Mitt Romney

April 9, 2008 / Add comment

In the run-up to the New Hampshire primary, Mitt Romney, after failing to win in Iowa, ramps up the rhetoric in this hard-hitting interview with Wallace. He answers charges of flip-flopping by charging his chief rival, John McCain, with changing his views on ethanol, tax cuts, and even the confederate flag. After accusing McCain of being in favor of giving Social Security benefits to illegal immigrants, Wallace confronts him with the fact that McCain only favors such a plan after immigrants attain legal status. Watching Romney, one gets the impression that he's fighting for his political life.
